 11月28日，受世界首部关爱女性生理期电影《PADMAN》（中文译名 《印度合伙人》）启发，由北京妇女儿童发展基金会、北京桥爱慈善基金会联合举办，北京市妇女联合会、微公益、她公益共同支持的“关注女性自信健康　挑战PADMAN”公益启航慈善晚宴在北京顺利举办。

    北京妇女儿童发展基金会秘书长翟串联，全国妇联、北京妇联领导，新浪公益总监杨光，北京桥爱慈善基金会创始人兼名誉理事长田甜，中国社会福利基金会秘书长蔡君翼、郑义挺，春秋时代影业董事长吕建民以及活动特邀星推官李若彤、特邀星推官江铠同、骆达华、艺人米咪、朱天天等出席了本次活动。苏菲也参加了此次活动，表达了携手推广公益事业的意愿，以大学贫困女生、贫困地区女性、北京外来务工贫困女性为捐赠对象，向北京妇联捐赠苏菲超熟睡安心裤，共计9360包，总价值 101,088 元人民币。并获得了表彰。

    女性一次生理期只有几天，但累积到一生中的总和平均下来达到6年9个月。

    电影《印度合伙人》聚焦女性生理健康问题，讲述了一位男性跨越传统、宗教、舆论为印度大部分女性发明了低成本卫生巾生产机器，并开放专利，为印度全国对于女性经期卫生观念带来变革的故事。

    尤妮佳集团印度分公司，也针对这一现状从2013年准备展开了名为“Managing Menstruation-My Pride”的初潮教育。5年间在15个城市995所学校，面向了约20万的女学生，进行的有关生理期的知识讲座。并在17年扩大讲座实施的范围，进入农村地区讲解。在当地政府和教育部门的协助下，还针对21个地区的3368所学校，14000名老师进行了卫生方面知识的在线培训。
